What is IMPA ACT?

IMPA ACT is an exclusive community of ship purchasers and suppliers working to become sustainability frontrunners by working towards compliance with internationally endorsed standards.

IMPA ACT is an independent initiative of the International Marine Purchasing Association (IMPA) that seeks to improve the economic, social and environmental compliance of its ship purchaser and supplier members. IMPA ACT represents international best practice and is aligned with UN principles.

Your Questions Answered: How to prioritise human risks in supply chains?
A common concern that managers have before engaging in responsible supply chain management is how to managing the risks that are identified and how far down the supply chain is there is a responsibility to report and take action. A new resource and video has been added to the Member's resource section to explore how to prioritise human rights actions in the supply chain.

New Sector Risk Assessment Uploaded to the IMPA ACT Members' Area
In order assist IMPA ACT Member in selecting their suppliers to partner with, IMPA ACT will be uploading sector specific risk assessments, the first of which is Oil and Gas Risk Assesment. This can be accessed through the IMPA ACT Members' Section in the Knowledge Base.
